Another week is starting, this year is coming to an end, and we all can get a load of some inspiration, can´t we? Well, here is my contribution.
I see life sometimes as a great battle.
A battle because there are so many things we have to overcome in our everyday experiences, such as our limitations, our weaknesses, our wrongdoings, the losses, and all the other challenges we´re all aware of, the list is endless, isn´t it?
Even though it may sound corny or clichê, the question remains the same for everyone: What life is all about?
And in my questionings, I´ve been, each and every day, evolving, turning into someone different, hopefully, better and stronger, because that´s what makes sense to me.
This cannot be measured by anything external or tangible, it´s an inward experience that goes deep in the core of your real essense, which is your spirit. Change and reinvention happen from within first,
and it´s an endless ongoing process; the experiences you live here are meant to achieve this level, which should be a self-induced way to make you grow.
Well, considering the abovementioned premise, I´ve evolved in a more pragmatic human being and tried to take a look around to find inspiration somewhere and discovered that there is plenty of, if you´ll just take enough time to take a look at.
For some people, this is done by looking for a God as religion defines Him and doing what He supposedly expects from you, it is a way out to find their purpose, you can take your pick, there are so many different ones, just choose the one that best suits you.
My personal belief is that religion is just one attempt to figure that out – however, I do believe we´re a product of an intelligent Creator – I don´t ask you to buy it, though, who am I? And yet for others, it´s their family, career, a loved one or loved ones, for some others, money, ´success´ at the standards of what society established, but the bottom line is only one: WE ALL NEED TO FIND OUR PURPOSE or REASON TO LIVE and all we really want is to feel well, possibly all the time.
Wherever you find yours, make sure it really enthuses you, it makes you grow, expands your awareness, and, above all, that it makes you feel well and enjoy the journey – because life is what happens to us while we´re busy making other plans as John Lennon intelligently said one day, so let´s not dellude ourselves that there is a point in the future to be happy and feel great, the time is right now and here, and if you do not do it, you might not be able to live it ever. I firmly believe that the answers lie within us and you have to find them yourself, no one can do it for you.
During my brief period of existence, I have found inspirations in music, literature, some ´biographies´ ( in quotes because they all tend to portray only the good side of the characters forgetting the important point that we´re all human beings, even great achievers) and more recently in something that it´s becoming a passion: MOVIES.
I think movies are an extraordinary way to inspire us as you have sound, image and stories of failures, successes, added to it. Furthermore, you can have music and scenes that can relate to people from all walks of life, that´s the majestic side of telling a story, – through the depicting of a life experience, you can share, teach, learn, exchange experiences, evolve, and eventually make sense out of life. And most importantly: GET INSPIRED !
Let´s focus today on one single aspect of our physical life which is our health. Health is intimately connected with good eating habits, a proper balanced diet, good sleep, and some discipline. It might be strenuous for some people and definitely we need a boost every now and then to keep going.
For me, music is one of them. Listening to upbeat fast songs provides me with the energy I need to get pepped and have a great workout session.
So I do recommend it to you . Another great source of energy can be found in the Rocky Series movies. I have selected some best scenes for you below so that you cannot only take your pick to exercise with but it may also inspire you to become a real fighter and winner in life, at least, I hope so.
Sylvester Stallone managed to inspire lots of people through his motion pictures portraying Rocky Balboa – a character who was responsible for a turnaround in his own life, before he had struggled for years in New York trying to sell the concept which was rejected so many times and led him to poverty when he came to point of selling his dog to eat. I believe this is not only a story of success but perserverance in your dreams.
So I hope the scenes will inspire you to become a fighter and a real winner whenever you face difficulties in life; and that does not mean to have the physical attributes of an athlete, but to persist in whatever you believe in and never give up on your dreams.
And talking about evolving, take a chance to see how our workout apparatus evolved in the nice, brilliant and uplifting ROCKY SERIES – I´ve selected the first four ones, they were the best, in my opinion. Enjoy them, get inspired, live your dream and make a difference.
To your success in business and in life.
See you next time.
